Finschhafen, town in Papua New Guinea, on the north coast of the island of New Guinea. It is located at the northeastern end of the Huon Gulf coast at about latitude 6°40' south and longitude 147°50' east. The town is situated on Finsch Harbor and has a rainy, tropical climate.
