Coburg, district in south-eastern Australia, in the state of Victoria, between Moonee Ponds Creek and Merri Creek, in the Melbourne metropolitan area. It is part of the local government shire of Moreland. Coburg is north of the central business district of Melbourne, to which it is connected by rail, and is a textile and manufacturing centre.
