Randwick, city in south-eastern Australia, in New South Wales, on the Tasman Sea, in the Sydney metropolitan area. The "City of Randwick" is a local government area consisting of ten Sydney suburbs, one of which is Randwick itself. Centennial Park is the northern boundary of the city; the southern boundary is Botany Bay. To the east is Coogee, on the seashore; and to the south-west, in the suburb of Kingsford, is the main campus of the University of New South Wales.
