Greenfield, city, Milwaukee County, southeastern Wisconsin; incorporated 1957. The city is primarily a residential suburb of Milwaukee. A museum of local history is housed here in a reconstructed log cabin of the 1830s. Population 31,467 (1980); 33,403 (1990); 35,476 (2000).
