Review:Quantity over quality Went to Captain George's in August of 2000 with my family and friends while on vacation. Initially we marvelled at the vast quantity of food at the buffet. However, after actually sitting down and eating the food, we were dissapointed. For example the giant size clams would have been more suitable for soup/chowder than serving at the buffet. Everything looked delicious but the taste didn't live up to the appearance. The deserts were much the same. The restaurant was very kid friendly though. Review:Excellent My family and I have been to Captain Georgie's many times and we think it is wonderful. We enjoyed it so much we are going to take a trip there this spring just to eat there. The food is excellent and there are so many things to pick from. And besides, all you can eat seafood, who can pass that up! Review:I disagree I totally disagree. Review:We love Captain George's My husband and I experienced Captain George's for the first time in May of 2001 at Williamburg. At first we were overwhelmed with the choice of selections. Our waitress asked us if this was our first time at Captain George's and advised us to not make the mistake of filling up on salads and breads first, but to head for the entrees. I made it through the entrees and salads, but just looked at the desserts. My husband on the other hand made it through the entrees, salads, soup and two plates of dessert. As we waddled out we proudly purchased two Captain George's tee-shirts which we still wear with pride!

Review:Most Authentic Italian! I visit Bella Monte every time I'm in VA Beach (about 3x a year). It's the only place I've ever eaten in the US that tastes like the food I had when vacationing in Italy as well as my grandmothers kitchen!! I eat out often and enjoy traveling. For Italian cuisine, Bella is the BEST and most authentic! Review:Excellent all around This restaurant is one that everyone should eat at. With a service, great food, and a wonderful environment (cabaret piano player), Bella Monte is one of the best restaurants in the Hampton Roads area.
