Aubrey's is the best restaurant in Nacogdoches. The servings are normally large enough for two people and the food is excellent. Try the meat loaf sandwich. Expect to stand in line for lunch on some Saturdays and all Sundays. The post-church crowd is a wide mix of people, and a good show in itself.
