Cuisine: American
Recommended Dishes: health club chicken platter, monte cristo, the big irish
Review: I enjoy Bennigan's. The atmosphere is great, the service is almost always good, and the food tastes wonderful. There aren't to many restaurants that actually have cooks that take the time to make the food look and taste good, Bennigan's does. I would like to know nutritional information on your platters though such as calories, protein, and grams of fat.

Cuisine: Tex-Mex
Recommended Dishes: fajitas; 9-1-1 plate
Review: Great fajitas
This place has great beef and chicken fajitas. Their chicken enchiladas are great too. You can choose the sauce you want on top. I always go for the green tomatillo sauce - it's really hot! They also have a great happy hour with munchies you serve yourself out of the trunk of a Cadillac. The decor is pretty cool. There is an Elvis shrine and lots of hub caps on the ceiling.

Review: We love this place!
My family and I love this resaurant. They have wonderful service and everyone is very nice. We drive all the way from Beaumont to enjoy this place. My personal favorite is the Mandarin Beef. If you give Don Ting a try, I promise you won't be sorry. The atmosphere is very relaxing and quiet. Check them out.
Droubi's Bakery and Imports
7333 Hillcroft Street - 713.988.5897
Cuisine: Middle Eastern
Recommended Dishes: shwarma
Review: I live in Indiana now and still dream about the delicious food at Droubi's. If shawarma could be mailed to me, I would be overjoyed. Alas, it cannot. The shwarma is so good that thinking about it now is making my mouth water. I return to Houston about once a year just to go to Droubi's. Unbelievably perfect food!

Americas Restaurant
1800 Post Oak Boulevard - 713.961.1492 over $50
If there’s one restaurant you’d want to show an out-of-towner, its this one. Nationally acclaimed for its innovative kitchen, Michael Cordua’s place is an architectural wonder with cavernous interiour designed by Jordan Mozer.
Cuisine: Latin American
Recommended Dishes: Fried Banana Scallop appetizer/Tres leches dessert/Tenderloin atunazo tuna steak
Review: America's
My waiter was helpful. She could answer questions about the menu. She also made good recommendations. Plates were cleared quickly. Also my water was refilled quickly.I never had trouble attracting my waiter's attention. The bill arrived on time but I didn't feel rushed. This is a top of the line restaurant.

Capriccio

Review: Grill of the Americas
An open grill is the focal point of the kitchen at this casual upscale eatery. Already known for its Argentinian dishes, the new menu features cuisine from all of the Americas including Mexico and other Latin American countries. The bar menu serves up mouth-watering tapas. Also, served are pastas, steaks and seafood entrees along with a variety of soups, salads and sandwiches all of which reflect the bold flavors of South America. The atmosphere sparkles with elegance and service is attentive.
Charlie's Hamburger Joint
1440 W. Gray Street - 713.520.1744
Cuisine: Burgers
Review: Great Chili Cheeseburger!
I've never actually stayed at Charlies to eat -- I always get lunch or dinner to go. But the place is nice, the employees are attentive and courteous and the service is fast. But best of all is the food! Try the chili cheeseburger. It's worth risking a little indigestion!
