Beto's Mexican Restaurant 214 W Pioneer Pkwy - 972.237.2377 Bar<br>Parking: free lot available Cuisine: Mexican Recommended Dishes:stacked encheladas, fajitas, and taco salad Review:It doesnt get any beto than this The menu is affordable ranging from 4.95 to 13.99. A family of four could eat for auround $25.00. These recipies are authintic. The food speaks for itself and the atmosphere is not reminicent of the of the typical family owned Mexican joint where the English speaking crowd is feeling uncomfortable because the strive of mom and paps restraunte is to be most Mexican so you had to bring in a sac of mc donalds for little one if you wanted them to be able to eat sense the owners would rather stay true to menudo than put a Tex-Mex hot dog on the menue for your kid. No, this is not like that the servers are consistantly great, the menue has everything you wish your spouse could cook if they were from villa de la paz, mexico from carne guisada, pollo ala parilla , and giant chili rellenos to your good old enchiladas topped with what ever you want. And of course fajitas that will burn into your memory next time you need an event caterd out.
Captain D's Seafood Restaurant 2515 S Great Southwest Pkwy - 972.660.6557 Cuisine: Seafood Recommended Dishes:Shrimp specials Review:Exceptional service for fast food I visited your restaurant in Grand Prairie, Tx. on Gr. Southwest Pky. recently. I was surprised at the friendly service and constant attention to the customers needs. I am not use to such a display. The girls were constantly welcoming people, filling orders cheerfully, and asking if our glasses needed to be refilled without hesitance. It was great to visit such a place during the busy lunch hours. I told the girls when I left that they were great and they needed a raise! They were great......

Marsala Ristorante 1613 Hwy 360 N (at Ave. K) - 972.988.1101 Online Ordering Review:Uppity Attitudes with Lowdown exterior Couldn't eat there. They don't allow kids under 7. Very uppity attitude at the front door but from the outside, looks like a hole in the wall. In this day and age, who can afford to anger potential customers or turn them away? Kids aren't comfortable in high-dollar atmospheres. There's a time and a place for them. I appreciate a good, romantic meal without my child. I appreciate other patrons who respect this also. But someone in the hospitality industry (as I am) should know how to tactfully convey this message without insulting one's dress (they blamed the "no kids" policy on dress code - I was wearing a skirt and sweater). By the way, guests leaving were wearing sweats. I'm appalled. Review:A classy place for an evening out
Oasis at Joe Pool Lake 5700 Lake Ridge Pkwy. - 817.640.7676 Cuisine: American Recommended Dishes:Nachos nachos Review:The Staff is Inconsiderate!
Review:July 4th, 2002 - Busy but professional :) I took a chance and decided to take the family of 5 to the Oasis for dinner before the July 4th fireworks display. We arrived at 6:15 and were seated immediately. Our waiter kept the glasses full, the food was ok(Nachos and burgers) & the place was buzzing. They had just started a wait list for larger groups as we left (7:15p), but small groups (4 or less) were still be seated as they arrived. No complaints. The only problem was the parking lot was overflowing. We had to park on the grass. By the way, the fireworks were great!
