Review: Best Dinner in Texas
The homestyle atmosphere, and the delicious meal that awaits you is beyond compare. The wait staff is friendly and always ready to bring you seconds, thirds, and more. The food is outstanding, it's like staying home for dinner only you don't have to do the cooking.
Review: Best Chicken Dinner ANYWHERE
We lived in the DFW area for quite some time. We first went to Babe's (in the summer of 1993), and we've been going there ever since... both to the Roanoke and Garland locations. (We prefer Roanoke mainly because of the atmosphere.) And, we've told everyone we know about it. Now, we live in Minnesota, and we LONG for a trip to DFW to have some more Babe's Fried Chicken and 'fixins.'
Review: Had better!
We went there at 2:30p.m. It closed at 3. They were out of two of their six meats! Service was rude! We will NOT be back!
Review: Awesome
Babe's is a staple when the in-laws are in town. It's a little expensive if you don't like to eat a lot, but the doggie bags are hanging on the wall for you to grab. The chicken fried steak is the best, but I haven't had anything not great. Check them out when the lima beans are in season. Whew!
Review: Wonderful
Had my first visit to the Babe's in Roanoak in January, for my husband's birthday with 17 of our friends and family. We had such a great time. Food was great and they allowed me to bring in a birthday cake, homemade just for him. Now, when my father and mother-in-law come into town, we have to take them back. Love the atmosphere, the people and the food. A most see on the weekend for the street music and local shops that open their doors.
Review: To the person who said they had better!
You must be joking...You had to have your restaurants mixed up..Everyone who is a real Babe's Chicken fan knows that they do not have 6 meats they have 2....Take you pick..Chicken or Chicken Fried Steak...The are both GREAT!!!!! Before you decide to rip on a restaurant get your facts straight...
Review: Best Fried Chicken in Texas!
We will be there tonight with our men's group from church. Great food, great service.
Review: To the Guy that says they only have 2 meats
Maybe you should get your facts straight! They have six meats or more at the Garland Location and only 2 meats at the Roanoke location. So maybe "real" Babe's Chicken Fans try both restaurants before they open their mouth!
Review: Beer
I like beer and they do not serve it. That's ok because they let you bring your own.

Review: A day at Luna

Review: Luna To Go
I've never actually been to Luna de Noche, but it's near my husband's work so he picks up dinner for us all the time. The food is great, reheats well, and comes in good sturdy containers that don't pop open when you touch them.
Review: Luna is one of my favorite places to eat in the Metroplex! The salsa is tasty (not too spicy, but with just enough kick). The queso is fabulous and their chicken dishes are so yummy and tender! I've never had a bad meal from there! Service is impeccable. The waitstaff is attentive without being in your face or pushy.
Review: Best Mex in town!
Long wait but that just shows how great they are. Don't take reservations unless you have 15+ people in your party. Service is great, very attentive. Never had a bad experience. Everything I've ever had there, has been great.
Review: My wife and I go to Luna De Noche every Friday night. A great Restaurant, Nice atmosphere, and extremely good food, but all this is ruined by some details management needs to take into account. The female hostess at the front door is extremely unfriendly and rude, (never has a welcome, or hello). Hostess is going to seat you where she wants you or else! Food is wonderful without exception. However, the good food is ruined by restaurant personel constantly rushing patrons throught the meal. Multiple personel trying repeatedly to grab your plate before you are ready. When they finally do take your plate, they immediately grab the chips & hot sauce so you will not linger, "Don't Mess With Texans Chips & Hot Sauce". The message from the front door and throught the meal, is "HURRY UP AND MOVE ON" we have many other people to rush when you leave. This is all very carefully orchestrated and is obviously at the managements urging. Please let the management know that this ruins a very good meal. We go out on Friday Night to relax over good Mexican Food and a Drink. Don't rush us! And Don't take the chips & hot sauce without asking. The hostess at the front door does not know how to receive people with a true Mexican welcome. The exception with service and friendliness at this restaurant is a waiter named "Israel", he knows true Mexican Hospitality. We love this restaurant and especially "Israel", but are always tempted to not return because of the rude hostess and the constant rushing of patrons to finish quick and get out. Linda Galvan, the owner, needs to rethink the hospitality angle at this very good restaurant and make some changes. A good start would be the hostess. Second, get rid of all the people roaming around with head-sets to see who they can rush next.
Review: Three Cheers For Luna
I consider myself very picky when it comes to Mexican food because it is my favorite food. I came here for the first time and was slightly skeptical when it came to the food. Especially that green salsa. Minutes later, though, this became my favorite restaurant. The staff is wonderful, the food is great, and of course the Qeuso and Flan (the most important part of a meal there) are in a league of there own!

Review: Love the Chain, Love the Fish

Review: One of the few restaurants I've ever wished I owned
Four or five of us seniors drive 30 miles from Arlington/Mansfield, Tx area with a restaurant on every corner just to eat at Catfish King in Waxahachie. It's the freshest, tastiest, consistently good quick serve food we eat. It's also a true value meal. Health food it ain't but the closest to down home cooking we get. Why or why don't you come to Mansfield, the fastest growing city in north Texas. Better yet, why don't you sell us one of your restaurants--I'd love for my grown kids to own a restaurant like yours.
