The food is wonderful with great breakfast and hand-tossed pizza. The ambiance is familiar as the restaurant has a "diner" feel to it. If in downtown, make sure you stop by the Arcade for either breakfast, lunch, dinner, or all three.
Buckley's Fine Fillet Grill Downtown 117 Union Avenue - 901.578.9001 Recommended Dishes:8 oz Filet Review:What A Deal !! My wife and I ate dinner at Buckley's Downtown and were very impressed. They specialize in an 8 oz filet for just 11.99! Can you believe it? It was great! My wife had blackened salmon over linguini in a garlic cream sauce and she loved it. The service was good and the owner/manager took the time to come by the table and ask how everything was. The restaurant is in a building that is on the national historic register and the atmosphere is very nice.

It's not cheap but well worth it. The steaks are cooked to perfection (if you want to cook it yourself you can), the baked potatoes are wonderful. The service is remarkable even for large parties. Not much of a selection but of course it is a steak place. Highly recommended for that special night out.
