Cheeky Monkey 14 Perry Mill Wharf - 401.845.9494 Cuisine: Mediterranean Review:A Must in Newport To visit Newport and not stop in to eat at the Cheeky Monkey would be a crime. To begin with you walk into an incredible atmosphere, beautiful decor, and an amazing staff. If that's not enough to make your night, the food is out of this world!! They have a variety of things on the menu for a variety of different people. I highly recommend making The Cheeky Monkey a dining adventure you will not forget.
La Forge Casino Restaurant 186 Belleveue Ave. - 401.847.0418 Recommended Dishes:lobster bisque!! Review:Wonderful restaurant, overlooking the Tennis Museum for added ambience. I recommend asking to be seated on the porch; I also highly recommend the lobster bisque, which is unparalled, even in this fish-eating seaside location.

One Pelham East 270 Thames st. - 401.847.9460 Recommended Dishes:Beer! Review:Check out the Plaid Daddy Band!!! Had a great time at this club...heard it was the most happening place in Newport year 'round so I had to check i out (an Dean Cain showed up the same night (superman!!!)) very cool. But, have to give a major heads up to the band that was playing on stage Plaid Daddy. They rocked with the most versatile set of party songs have ever heard a young group of musicians pull off with style and energy. I searched for this club on the net because of the band. Great club over-all and they had a dance club upstairs as well. I danced all night with the band though.

Cuisine: Steaks Recommended Dishes:House Filet special Review:WOW! This has to be the finest steakhouse in the country. Believe me, I've tried them all, from Texas to Minneapolis! Review:Our experience at 22 Bowen's was less than favorable. Food was OK, salads are BLAH ! The beef was OK but nothing that special. Wiggly table legs and a surly waiter topped off the evening. $150 for a party of 3. The motto for the restaurant should be "Ordinary food at extraordinary prices".

This restaurant is over-rated and the staff is extremely rude. Don't bother with the long wait -- just go to the bar and have a bowl of chowder and move on to a more enjoyable place.
