Blue Nile Cafe 2225 NE Broadway - 503.284.4653 $5.01 - $15 Cuisine: African Review:ETHIOPIAN RESTAURANT The Blue Nile Cafe boasts a filling meal at a moderate price range with guaranteed leftovers. Prices are reasonable, ranging from $5.50-$7.25 for lunch and $5.50-$10 for dinner. For a gathering with several friends who have appetites, The Blue Nile serves just the right ingredients and a good variety of options. If you don't think you'll like the taste of the sourdough-like Injera, though, bring a fork because the rest of the meal is worth your time and money.

Acapulco's Gold 2610 NW Vaughn Street - 503.294.2190 Recommended Dishes:Chile Relleno Review:Beautiful Mural and Great Food I stumbled upon this homey yet funky restaurant last week while trolling for dinner near the end of the alphabet of Northwest Portland streets. Acapulco's Gold, located on Vaughn Street between 26th and 27th, was a fantastic find for me on a drippy Tuesday. The food includes traditional Mexican as well as homestyle favorites, and the bar and restaurant attract regular customers, a few of whom are featured in the stunning mural that greets you at the door. Ask the friendly staff about its creation - you'll get a little taste of local art history.
