Maple Heights, city, Cuyahoga County, northeastern Ohio, near Cleveland; settled 1825, incorporated as a city 1930. Although chiefly residential, it has industries producing aluminum stampings and electrical and die-making equipment. The Maple Heights Historical Society, open to the public in the summer months, is housed in a little red schoolhouse (1871). The community was named for its maple trees.
