Le Canard-Enchaine
Fair Street - 914.339.2003
Cuisine: French
Recommended Dishes: Steak, Duck, Salmon, Escargot (App) & Tuna
Review: Save the airfair
I always feel as if I am enjoying my friends, wine, food and music on a Paris back street. I think this is as close as you can get without flying to Paris, France.
Review: Great Place
I love the food and the staff.
Review: Check it out...
The food is spectacular. Make it a point to stop and taste it yourself. Cozy little bar and you are always in good company. John Jacque is quite the comedian.
Review: what a find
My wife and I frequent good resturants in the Hudson Valley. We went here for the first time on Saturday nite. Unbeliveable. We go to Quebec City every summer and this made us feel like we were back there again. 5 star everything: food, service and atmosphere.
Armadillo Bar & Grill
97 Abeel St. - 914.339.1550
Recommended Dishes: Any Burrito will do you right ! Steak specials !!
Review: The taste of Mexican without going to Mexico. This is as authentic as it gets. Great atmosphere, very reasonable prices and generous portions will keep you coming back. This place is crowded everyday of the week which tells you something right there.
Review: One of our favorites! Heading there for lunch today. Food & service always the best, and at a good value. Friendly and attentive staff. We look forward to each visit. Great Margaritas.
Tapping Frog & Kitchen Cafe
38 John Street - 845.339.7138 $5.01 - $15
Eclectic northern Italian restaurant in the heart of the historic stockade district, fine dining in a charming and relaxing setting filled with antiques and art from local artists
Cuisine: Eclectic
Recommended Dishes: risotto, pastas, ossobuco
Review: Surely one of the best 5 restaurant in the Hudson Valley. It's not the typical Italian red sauce restaurant, the food is very creative and prepared like it should be...with care and love. This is the only restaurant (I know of) that compares to the ones in Italy. If you have been to Italy more than once and are looking for the same type of taste and feel this is the place to go.
