Review: Service is TERRIBLE

Review: Food and Service were GREAT!
I went on Sunday afternoon, and had a great dining experience! The restaurant was very crowded, but the waiter was efficient and friendly. Portions were huge, food was hot and VERY tasty!
Review: LOVE IT!
One of my favorite places to eat! Yes, it gets crowded, so don't go if you're looking for a quiet, romantic evening. But for good food in a family-style environment, it's perfect!
Review: Crowded, but worth it!!!

Review: Frankie and Johnnie's Pine Tavern - The Best
I have been to Frankie & Johnnie's on many occasions and I must say I love the ambiance, service, food and courteousness. They make sure you don't leave hungry and the drinks they whip up are amazing. I will be there on 11/2/02 celebrating another birthday.
Review: AWESOME RESTAURANT
I'VE DINED AT ALL THREE RESTAURANTS,THE TWO IN THE BRONX AND THE ONE IN NEW ROCHELLE. I' CAN'T EVEN START TO EXPLAINE HOW GOOD THE FOOD AND SERVICE WAS IT BLEW ME AWAY. THE SEAFOOD DISHES WERE SO FRESH THAT IT JUMPED RIGHT OFF MY PLATE. THE CHICKEN PARM WAS BETTER THAN MY MOTHER'S AND THOSE ARE HARD SHOES TO FILL. I WON'T EAT ANYWHERE ELSE THANKS FOR A GREAT EXPERIENCE.
Review: Outstanding Food and Service
I don't live in New York anymore, but when I come to visit or passing through, I make it a point to eat at Frankie & Johnnie's Pine Tavern. The food is excellent and service is great. You never leave hungry. A great experience to say the least.
Review: FANTASTIC
The food always arrives hot, there's no way you can finish the entire plate..take home the left-overs, they are great the next day too. It gets crowded, but it's worth the wait!
An Beal Bocht Cafe
445 W 238th St - 718.884.7127
An Beal Bocht is a true neighborhood hangout. It evolved from a coffee shop with scones into a cafe with Irish favorites like Irish Stew and Shepherds Pie and hearty sandwiches. Imported Irish foodstuffs are also available for purchase. Entertainment almost nightly starts at 9:30 pm and ranges from poetry to drama to acoustic music, and the place is as close to a real Irish pub as you can get without traveling to the Emerald Isle.
Cuisine: Breakfast / Brunch
Recommended Dishes: Irish stew, roast beef sandwich Sheperd's pie Sheperd's Pie, Irish Stew
Review: Friendly Place
A real Irish pub hidden in the north Bronx. Good beers and food. Friendly atmosphere.
Review: Excellent Music
Excellent acoustic Irish music two weekends running. No cover but they pass the basket for the players. I didn't try the food, but the beer was definitely beer. I went for the music.
Review: Good time, good food, real Irish.
Nice little "real Irish" place. Not like the many pubs in North Jersey and the Bronx where the only Irish thing about it is the name over the door. Music is great, Joe McKenna especially. I'll be "bocht" :>) to see Joe play again. Also, there's an amazing collection of signs and posters that must have taken years to bring over from Ireland.
Review: Cozy, Friendly, Fun
The Guinness is good as it gets, the music is downhome and fun, and they have a women's dart league! The Sheperd's Pie comes with a salad and is fabulous.
Piper's Kilt
170 W 231st St Broadway - 718.548.9539
Cuisine: Irish
Recommended Dishes: Try what you like.
Review: Scrupulously onion topped hamburgers with side orders and a cold one reasonable priced.
Fresco Tortilla Taco
253 Eighth Ave. - 212.463.8877
Cross Street: 22nd & 23rd Sts.
Cuisine: Mexican
Giovanni's Pizza & Restaurant Inc
579 Grand Concourse - 718.402.6996 $15.01 - $30
Lawyers, teachers, jurors and baseball fans are common in this pizzeria restaurant. With the local courthouse and a school nearby, nothing beats the fact that Yankee Stadium is within walking distance. Housing chefs with a great imagination when it comes to their pastas and sauces Giovanni’s also offers signature entrees for those comfortable with what they know. Glamorous movie stars grace the wall of the dining room while customers enjoy their meals but beware if there is a game on because the big screen comes down and all the televisions are on for all to enjoy. Don’t forget the jazz lounge in the back just in case you’re in the mood for smooth tunes and a drink from the bar. The “G-Bar” is open for lunch and the band starts just in time to put down your briefcase and call it a day at work and start your evening.
Cuisine: Italian
Lobster Box
34 City Island Ave - 718.885.1952 $30.01 - $50
Cuisine: Seafood
