The steak bar is very popular for all the right reasons and all of the food in the buffet is kept well stocked and fresh. The staff is friendly, well trained and attentive. A really good brunch is served on weekends. We usually take out of towners here for at least one meal and there have never been any complaints and a lot of compliments.

Review:Best Seafood in Town Finding seafood of decent quality would seem to be a problem when you live so far from the ocean but this place does the best job of any other eatery in town. There's a Red Lobster just down Main St as competition but they don't even come close to the quality of what Captain D's offers! It's more of a fast food seafood place but has a nice dining area and a very well trained staff.

I love the Chicken Fried Steak platters (either American or Mexican style) but almost everything else is a a great value for the money-and you can have it your way no matter what.
China Star 1415 W 2 St - 505.622.3002 Cuisine: Chinese Recommended Dishes:The buffet anytime Review:Great Buffet ! I think most visitors to Roswell wouldn't expect there to be very many Chinese restaurants but they'd be wrong. The China Star offers a greay buffet all day long with a very wide selection of foods all of which are well prepared and kept fresh. A very well trained staff keeps everything stocked and makes sure you have a good time. Prices are very reasonable.
Red Lobster 2625 N Main St - 505.622.4818 Cuisine: Seafood Recommended Dishes:None-Go to Captain D's instead ! Review:Worst in the country ! I wouldn't eat here again if you paid me! The food is grossly overcooked (ever have shrimp that was cooked to shoe-leather consistancy)? And nothing even remotely resembles what's shown on the menu. Another problem is that the staff seems to have no problem joining the diners eating and entertaining friends (loudly) or blaring a radio in the cooking area. This is the worst place to eat I've ever been in and I certainly rate it as the worst in all of Roswell - compared to all the other Red Lobsters I've eaten in across the country this place should be closed to protect the good name of Red Lobster.
