Choose from Strawberry Cream (I believe), plain, chocolate, some cinnamon and nut variation (my fave), and, as with most food items in the Big Sky, the croissants are absolutely massive. You wouldn't want to eat two. Review:Possibly the best cherry/cheese danish on earth This place is a two minute walk from the best fly shop in Missoula. The recurring theme is to get good coffee, a sticky bun and a cherry/cheese danish, and head for the rivers to fish. The people are friendly, they have regular coffee and coffee you can float a horseshoe in - which, if you like strong coffee is excellent. the people are nice, friendly and the location is quiet and comfortable. Review:Coffee and Almond Croissant Bernices is perfect in the early morning, when its' large windows and small patio get the rising sun. Patrons are extremely friendly, and the service is great. The coffee has a wonderful finish and their large croissant with a flaky crust is a wonderful contrast to the rich soft almond center.
Bagels on Broadway 223 W Broadway Street - 406.728.8900 Cuisine: Bakery Review:Go for the bagels, not the atmosphere The bagels here are quite good: tough and hard on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. There's a wide assortment of toppings (cream cheese and tomato being one of my faves) and breads. Very friendly local staff. However, the decor is incredibly cheesy--posters of New York City everywhere, The Big Apple, the white lights of Broadway. It's excruciating whenever small town tries to do big. Plus the plastic Walmart deck chairs look they were stolen right out of someone's backyard.
