Just went here for the first time today and the food and service are incredible! Review: Best Food Around Review: did I go into the wrong restaurant? I stopped by on Saturday afternoon, 2-16-2002 on the recommendation of earlier reviews. I ordered the chicken paprikas dinner. The chicken was a little chewy, like it had been made yesterday? The paprikas sauce taste like it came out of a can, I couldn't feel the taste of the fresh sour cream flavor leaping at me. Nor did the paprika spice reach out and grab my taste buds, like it should have. The lettuce on my salad was a little wilted, although the tomato slice and the green pepper was alright. And my tea? well it ran down the side of the teapot onto the table, just like it does in every other restaurant. A five star superb restaurant? - I think not. Previous reviewers are overly generous with their rating. this is a 3 star restaurant. Review: Superb Review: Disgusted I was not impressed what-so-ever. I walked in to see food all over the floor. The atmosphere smells like a funeral home. The wait staff is rude. The chicken paprikas was rather chewy and I was a little disgusted that the meat is left on the bones. My wife got the stuffed cabbage, and the meat inside was pink and cold. I saw the owner cussing at his employees. You can tell he has an ego. |
