Go to this restraunt, it kicks. Review:What didn't I like about this Place!! My boyfriend and I were visiting from Cleveland,Ohio attending the auto show. While looking for someplace to eat he came across a blurb about Beans & Cornbread and decided we should go there. All I can say is "Thank Goodness we did!!" I would have kicked myself had we gone anywhere else. I haven't had food that good since my Granny's. (She's from Louisiana, and nobody's food is better than hers. LOL!)If you are anywhere in Michigan, head to Beans & Cornbread!!! Review:It put Detroit on the map I discovered Beans and Cornbread on a business trip to the SAE World Congress a few years ago. For me, this restaurant has nearly single-handedly changed the Detroit area from my rather negative first impression to a destination for our next vacation. Wow! Great service (they even get the door for customers when possible) and excellent food. Now, when I am in the area I stay in Southfield and go no where else for dinner.

During our meal she sat down at the table next to us, with other customers. Her conversation was loud, perverse,and disgusting. I really did not apprieciate this nor do I wish for my children to be subjected to this. A young couple was sitting near us with their baby; when their waitress brought them a highchair, the hostess yelled from across the other side of the restaurant, "I can't have a highchair there!" Wouldn't it have been a lot more professional to walk up to the couple and offer them another table so that the highchair would not obstruct the aisleway, thus not embarrasing them. I think that they have a great product, but I won't be visiting their Southfield store any time soon. Review:Little Daddy's Review Most of the time while I was there I had to get up out of my seat to keep reminding the waiters to get, drinks, napkins, the bread basket ect. The hostess was very rude. I had to wait 10 minutes to ask for a few napkins because he was talking to his girlfriend on his cell phone. Then one of the female waiters was slicing bread without washing hands or wearing gloves. Review:Little Daddy's The sevice was bad. The food was bad. The ambiance was bad. Over all it was bad. When I was going into the restrooms I saw 2 people making out and they worked there. And after they left the restroom I noticed that they didn't wash their hands or anything.
Fishbone's Rhythm Kitchen Cafe 29244 Northwestern Highway - 248.351.2925 Review:not good I visited Fishbone's in Southfield on Sunday around two-thirty in the afternoon. After ordering my food and drinking my water half way down, I realized there was a bug in it. I gave it to the waitress who did not acknowledge it, just brought some more water. She did not apologize or get the manager or anything. I will not be back to this establishment. I am sorry I could not find the Fishbone website to let them know of their poor service.
