Dearborn Heights, city, Wayne County, southeastern Michigan, on the Middle River Rouge; incorporated 1963. It is a residential suburb of Detroit. A community college is here. Also of note is the Little Red Schoolhouse; built in 1824, it now contains a historical museum. Population 67,706 (1980); 60,838 (1990); 58,264 (2000).
