Recommended Dishes: The fried chicken basket buffalo style.
Review: Good Food
First of all I loved the pickles you gave me in the first place. They tasted more like cucumbers and they were great. I had the fried chicken and chips basket and I asked for it to be buffalo style. It was very spicy which is the way I like it. I thought it was great how you actually gave me enough bleu cheese dressing on the side. I also had a generous amount of fries.Along with my meal I had a diet soda and the free refills were incredible.I thoughy the prices were unbelievably low. The very nice waitress brought me another soda before I had to ask for another one. She was on top of things. My nephew was with me and he is 14 months old. The waitress even brought him a colerful cup full of water which we could take home. The waitress even gave him crayons at the door so he could draw while I was ordering. My meal was so big I couldnt stay for desert but I am sure that it would have been great! Thank you and I just want to tell you that your restaurant is great and I plan on coming back soon.

T.J. O'Briens has a nice pub atmosphere and excellent food, from regular pub fare through great seafood and excellent prime ribs. The service is prompt and friendly and the restaurant is clean and neat. A large attached deck area provides seasonal outdoor dining.
Review: Great Place!
Great food, great drink, and most of all, great people. A place the locals would like to call their own, but welcomes the tourists.
Review: It is a great place
The food was really good and the bar staff was the best I've ever encountered. My husband, myself and two other couples had a lot of fun the night we went. They had a band called The Mcmurphys, who were so much fun, they played every song we asked for. They play there about twice a month, we're going back every time they'll be there.
Review: We go once a month

Review: Love it
I love the food, love the atmosphere (There is a side room that is non-smoking, yet still a part of the action because there are big windows that let you see what is going on at the bar, etc. which is great for the kids), love the entertainment. Keep up the good work!
Annie's Country Kitchen

Review: Good place to eat breakfast

Review: Great Place!
Well first of all, I'd like to correct that thing on the left....The bathroom's ARE accessible. They are right next to the little coffee station. I think it is a great place to eat, low price, and the food is delicious.
Pizzeria Uno Chicago Bar and Grill
Center at Hobbs Brook, US Route 20 - 508.347.6420

The facility has the chain atmosphere and a large bar. Prices are reasonable and the portions are large. Take out may be ordered by phone or fax. (Call the main number and request that the fax menu be sent to you.)
Cuisine: Steaks
Recommended Dishes: Crab Cake Platter (order it with roasted red potatoes.) pizza
Review: Good food!
We entered on a cold, rainy night and found a full house - just barely no waiting. The decor was standard for the chain, but attractive. Our waitress was busy but attentive, and quickly brought drinks, which were quite large - and delicious. We ordered a Crab Cake Platter and Sirlion Tips with Peppers. Both were very tasty - well prepared and presented. There were many families seated, and their orders ranged from simple pizzas to more ample fare. Overall it was a nice experience worthy of more visits.
Review: I have never had better pizza! This place is great! The pizza just melts in your mouth and comes with an appetite!

Review: Slightly better than average Chinese
The meals are quite large, and some dishes are original and very good. The bacon-wrapped shrimp was exceptional, their Pu-Pu Platter is average, and overall the meals were about as expected. The dining room however resembles a cafeteria or Army mess hall - no class. Reservations were not necessary - no waiting for a table or service to commence.
Review: This place is great !!! They close too early at Christmas season!!! This is the only time we are in Massachusetts so we want to be able to expeirence the whole effect of the Kahula!
Cracker Barrel

The Cracker Barrel offers an extensive menu centered on American Southern cooking, including chicken & bisquits with gravy and grits. The breakfast menu provides a wide selection. A large front porch with rocking chairs is provided for relaxation and a gift area stocked with a variety of country items invites the diner to shop. The atmosphere is purely country. Menu pricing is appropriate to the area and a huge parking area encircles the building.
Cuisine: Breakfast / Brunch
Recommended Dishes: Chicken Fried Steak BLT sandwich and Onion Rings chicken pot pie
Review: Satisfying Breakfast
My wife & I recently had a late breakfast here and were both well pleased. The menu offered a wide selection of combinations to suit our appetites. Our server was efficient and knowledgeable and had a minute or two to chat if desired. Our meals were served promptly and the food was good. My wife's order of French toast was served with a huge dollop of butter and an individual maple syrup. I ordered a "sampler" breakfast and was impressed with the food variety, quality, quantity and presentation. We left fully intending to return and would recommend the breakfast menu to anyone. Out tab came to around $15.00 and the meal was well worth it.
Review: Good Grub!

Review: YUMMY!
The Cracker Barrel is WONDERFUL! If you are looking for some good ol' fashioned American dining, be sure to stop at the Cracker Barrel. I recommend the BLT sandwich and the onion rings. The onion rings are absolutely massive-- be prepared! The place is clean and so is the food-- nothing too fancy (which the kids like) and there's this cool little gift shop attached and it's like an old general store or something. Very interesting. I recommend the Cracker Barrel to anyone who likes good American food.
Review: Good!
My family and I ate there for breakfast one time while driving down to South Carolina. The food is delicous and you get a comforting feeling in the restaurant.
Review: chicken pot pie
I was very disappointed when I visited your restaurant in Dalton, Georgia, I ordered my usual CHICKEN POT PIE and to my dismay it had been taken off the menu. What could have possessed you to do such a thing? I visited your restaurant in Chattanooga, Tennessee, ordered my usual CHICKEN POT PIE, and guess what, it had been taken off the menu. I would strongly suggest you add it back on. Melissa
Rom's Restaurant

Ample space for receptions of 25 - 450, meetings, receptions, anniversaries and weddings. Daily luncheon specials, and a Thursday luncheon buffet. The Wednesday night smorgasbord is well worth the trip. Pricing is quite reasonable, considering the quality of the food.
Cuisine: Italian
Recommended Dishes: Italian specialties are a must try. Veal Parm apple crisp gnocci
Review: Rom's Restaurant
Very satisfying meals, especially the Italian dishes. Served professionally in a relaxed family atmosphere. Fast, efficient service. The weekly buffet is definitely worth a try. The best dining in the immediate area. Ample free parking in adjoining lot.
Review: Always been a fan!

Review: except for the poor meal, service, and cleanliness, it was pretty good
First of all, the hostess was rude, abrupt, and was made us feel like we were a bother to her. She was screaming at the help because a busboy dropped a little piece of paper on the floor. I think that was a bit excessive. Anyway, I have to say the waitress was halfway decent compared to the hostess. The food was alright, but was nothing special. I got the Chicken Caccitore, but my husband got the Prime Rib which was, as he said, 25 percent overcooked meat and 75 percent fat. The place was a pig stye though. There were dirty trays and tables all over the place. I can't believe the hostess would let it get this out of hand. The only good thing about the meal was the apple crisp. And then the big, fat hostess came over to us and said that they were closing and asked us if we could hurry up and get out of there. Well, needless to say, I would not journey back there for a while. With the hostess pushing us out and the just so so food, I think I would rather make a trip to McDonald's.
Review: We come to visit family once in a while to Sturbridge Ma, and we usually love it. The waiters and waitresses were all very nice, and the meal was very good.We always greet the hostess with a nice smile and hello, but she always seems very grumpy, they need to tell her to be more friendly. It seemed like the staff got a lot of help from their bus people too because they always seemed to be on the ball, as I saw anyway. We got our meal very quickly and one of the bus boys walked by with a tray and accidentally dropped a piece of lettuce on the floor, and the hostess saw him and chased him into the kitchen. You could hear her yelling from the kitchen all the way to the dining room! I couldn't believe she just yelled at him like that right in front of everyone. She then grabbed his arm and dragged him to where he dropped it and yelled at him once again to pick it up. I thought that was very disgraceful. Other than the hostess, i thought the food and service was great. I would go back again, and hopefully the hostess won't be there next time.
Sturbridge Isle Country Kitchen
400 Rt 15 - 508.347.9665 $5.01 - $15
Sturbridge Isle is a large facility, with several dining areas, a bar, video game room, gift shop and outdoor dining on the deck in season. They serve a widely varied menu comprising sandwiches and snacks, appetizers, and full meals. The Isle adjoins a busy truck stop, but that in no way detracts from the comfortable hospitality and family-oriented atmosphere. The interior is tastefully decorated, and there are ample parking areas outside each of the entrances. The grounds are interesting for children with ponds, walkways and resident ducks and swans
Cuisine: Family
Review: And we thought it was just a truck stop
A pleasant surprise. The meals were well prepared and delicious. Service was attentive and courteous. Dining areas, the bar area and restrooms were neat and clean. If fact, the whole place was well kept and clean. We took a walk around the pond and the kids had a ball feeding the ducks. A nice place with really good food certainly deserving another visit.
Review: And we thought we were going to get a good meal
The Whistling Swan
502 Main Street [Route 20] - 508.347.2321
Cuisine: Fusion
Recommended Dishes: house salad with house dressing
Review: Not Worth the Wait
Applebee's Neighborhood Bar & Grill
Hobbs Brook Plaza - 508.347.0174
Pub style food
Cuisine: Steaks
Review: I just had one of your hamburgers, and upon ordering was told that it could only be served "medium well done" or worse. Foolishly, I ordered it anyway. This hockey puck was inedible. I can conclude only either that you buy such inferior beef that your lawyers insist it be cremated before service, or that you hire fifth-rate cooks who you don't trust. The service was indifferent. I won't be back.
The Casual Cafe
538 Main St. [Route 20] - 508.347.2281

392 Main Street - 508.347.5111

Napoli Pizzeria III specializes in pizza, chicken dishes, pasta, calzones, grinders and Italian dinners. The dining area is quite small, and plenty of free parking is available. This is not a fast food eatery, as all meals are prepared to order. It is wise to call your order in ahead of time.
Cuisine: Italian
Rovezzi's Ristorante
Corner of Rte.20 and Rte.148 - 508.347.0100 $15.01 - $30
Rovezzi's ristorante is an upscale Italian restaurant with an elegant but relaxed atmosphere, with an ever-changing menu of Italian classics with Chef Chris Rovezzi's contemporary touch. A full bar and function space gives the restaurant a lively open feel but will most definitely fit the bill for a romantic dinner for two.
