They're noted for their seafood dishes, spicy Caribbean offerings, and authentic Southern barbecue--including the best pulled pork platter, this side of the Mason-Dixon! Order a blue margarita and either the buttermilk oyster appetizer or something from the sumptuous raw bar and take your time scanning the menu and many specials on the board. You'll want to save room, too, for one of East Coast's signature desserts--like a Caribbean banana split or their exquisite flan. Moderately priced in an informal, friendly atmosphere.

Review:So perfect, I long for it all the way from Seattle 1369 is the perfect place to meet up with friends, sit and read a book, watch people and time go buy, sip a cup of coffee or have a bite to eat. One cannot say enough about the vibe of this coffee house. Great atmosphere, good coffee and stellar service. The best part, none of the snootiness of a West Coast coffeehouse.
Asmara Restaurant 739 Massachusetts Ave - 617.864.7447 $15.01 - $30 Ethiopian fare in the multi-ethnic Central Square neighborhood. Cuisine: Ethiopian Recommended Dishes:sirloin tips in spiced butter with onions and green peppers Review:Not so great. The basket-woven tables and injera (flatbread) lined plates made eating here a bit of an adventure, but the food wasn't that great, especially for the price. Some of the dishes are just permutations of other dishes (you can get chicken with yellow sauce and bread, or you can get just bread soaked in yellow sauce), which made it hard to find new dishes to try. And at ~$12 an entree, it wasn't cheap enough for this poor starving college student. Review:Great Every time I visit the state, it is a must that i visit Asmara. My favorites include the kale and the ricotta with awaze, but everything is delicious. Go with a bunch of friends so that you can try a bigger cross-section of dishes. Be prepared to eat with your hands and share your meal with all.

Full Moon 344 Huron Ave. - 617.354.6699 Cuisine: Mediterranean Review:Family Vacation! I went to this restaurant for the 1st time last night (9/02). I went with my brother and two kids. My brother said that he thought it was kid friendly. Boy, was that an understatement. This restaurant has 1)Good food - wonderful selection of nice, "adult" meals. I had Italian Sausage over spinach risoto; 2)Good kids meals - like mac and cheese served with fruit - for $3.95; 3) Good prices - I think my meal was <$15; and 4) A PLAYROOM - part of the main dining room is a playroom complete with chalk board and brio train table. My son was in heaven.

Baraka Cafe 80 Pearl St - 617.868.3951 Recommended Dishes:None Review:Worst Dining Experience of my life! The food was pretty good...but no one should have to put up with service. Not only did they forget our reservation, make us wait for almost an hour, only have a table for 2 even though we were 3, the owner/waitress then came over the scold us in front of everyone because of our "attitude". She went as far to call us racist! Whatever. This lady is just crazy, and the fact that she told us she was too successful to have to put up with us is just going too far. Fight back Boston...don't settle for this kind of crap!
Papa-Razzi 100 Cambridgeside Place - 617.577.0009 Cuisine: Italian Review:Forget about promotions Papa-Razi had a promotion going on - 50% off all pasta dishes. Going there I had to learn that this was only true if you order at least 2 courses, nothing of this mentioned in the ad - false advertising!
