Will go back soon to try the food. We had two martinis, neither was shabby. Huge drink list and specialty martini list. Ambiance was nice and friendly and sort of Italian-posh/American Oak trendy. You can buy cigars at the bar, and actually smoke them there. (unlike neighboring Salem, which is smoke free.) I'd recommend it for a night out with friends or a special occassion meal. Review:It's all good! Most times I've gone it's standing room only at the bar. Yummy martinis. Drinks aren't small. Even though smoking is allowed in the bar, the super-vents keep the air suprisingly not-so-smokey. On the dining room side, the non-standard cushy pillow chairs and couches are awesome. Meals have been great. The grilled banana desert is the bomb.

The bread sticks served in a tomato sauce can are yummy. All the tables have olive oil for dipping. My favorite meal is the chicken marsala. And the teramisu is melt in your mouth...my favorite Italian restaurant.
Beverly Depot Restaurant 10 Park Street - 978.927.5402 Bar Cuisine: American Recommended Dishes:maybe the fish... the beef wasn't cooked properly Review:Cool atmosphere, so-so food I ate there for the first time last week. The wait was long, but the bar was decent. When we finally got a table and ordered, I had the filet. Somehow they managed to burn half of it. The atmosphere was nice though. The restaurant is in a working train depot.
