Wahiawa, city in Hawaii, in Honolulu County, on the island of Oahu. Wahiawa lies 27 km (17 mi) northwest of Honolulu. It is a residential and farming community. Pineapples are the main crop in the area. Population 17,386 (1990); 17,386 (1996 estimate).
