Aiea, town on the southern coast of Oahu Island in Hawaii, 11 km (7 mi) northwest of the capital Honolulu. It is located on the eastern edge of Pearl Harbor and lies on the major highway from Honolulu to Wahiawa. Aiea is an important sugar-refining center, utilizing locally grown sugar cane.
