Everything from traditional salad ingredients to crab and tuna salads is nice. When you're all done with your meal try their dessert called "Better than Sex". If you think I'm kidding about the name just ask one of the veteran waitstaff. :-) Review:sexy staff They have a great selection of fresh seafood at reasonable prices. The steaks are cooked to order with a variety of sides such as the baked potato, fries, wonderful onion rings, and sweet potato with cinnamon butter. the salad bar is awesome, and if a favored dish is unavailable just ask one of the very attractive waitresses to get you whatever you need! It is so good I visit every time I come to town. Review:Great Staff and Food With Lots of Smiles We took the whole family. The waitress was so great with the kids. She helped us get exactly what we wanted and it was great food. We all know that older members of our family are hard to deal with but the great waitress handled them with a smile too. What a great place to eat and feel welcome. Hats off to the great soup, salad and desert bar that was included with our meal for free. Way to go Captain Joe and staff! We will be back and thanks again for a wonderful meal.
Matteos Italian Restaurant 5448 New Jesup Highway - 912.267.0248 $5.01 - $15 Cuisine: Italian Recommended Dishes:Pizza's, Eggplant parmigian, ANYTHING w/meatballs,which are excellent Review:Bella Italiano!! The food here is awesome. This is one of the best restaurants in Brunswick...hands down! The value is a plus, with most entrees less than $6 or $7. Some include a house salad and all include their scrumptious garlic rolls. The atmosphere is not fancy but is quaint and very low key.
Captain Joes Seafood Restaurant 5296 New Jesup Highway - 912.264.8771 Cuisine: Seafood Review:Worst Food EVER recieved I visited this location this afternoon and was extremely disappointed! None of the food was fresh! I was afraid to eat certain things on the salad bar. The sauces that were brought out with my meal were discolored from being too old and the citrus granish was rotten! I told the host that I was displeased with the meal but she offered no explanation or compensation. I am diffently going to tell everyone I know NOT to eat at Captain Joe's on 5296 New Jesup Highway in Brunswick, Georgia.
