Review: Awesome Food and Service!!!
The food here is very original and full of flavor! The ambiance is cute, with local artists' work on the walls and in the gallery. The servers and staff are all very friendly, since its a family-owned place. Its not a fast food place, so go here when you have time to have a great, leisurely dinner.
Review: This place ws truly wonderful!!!
In all honesty, my fiance and I went here because we had the entertainment card and it was very close to our house. Well, we have been back since a couple of times with parents and friends, and love it. The atmosphere and service is something you can't find anywhere else. Anyway, we love it so much, we are considering having our wedding and reception there!

Review: Excellent food
I've had the salmon, tuna and grouper more than once. The meals were consistently delicious. The atmosphere is New York style and I enjoy the E-Z Street Band who I've seen play a couple of times.
Bern's Steak House

Cuisine: Steaks
Recommended Dishes: Fillet Get a huge slice of Chateubriand!
Review: Worth the $$$
Great food, great service. 1st timers must take the tour of the kitchen and wine cellar and MUST go to the dessert room.
Review: Awesome Steakhouse!!
I went to Bern's Steakhouse for my birthday and it was everything you may have heard and more... I am used to great steakhouses up in New York so I can tell this is the place in Tampa Bay! The kitchen is probably bigger than all the dining rooms combined. There is a separate station for each piece of the meals. Class act all the way. This place oozes money throughout. I don't see how they make a profit with so many employees everywhere and guests that are welcome for at least 3 hours apiece.

Wow! Over 50 toppings, pizza and breadstix under $5. (1/2 pizza and breadstix only $2.79). Even the dough was made in front of us WITHOUT A METAL MIXER! This was a great experience for my family.

Estela's Mexican Restaurant
209 E. Davis Boulevard - 813.251.0558
Recommended Dishes: Shrimp Burrito
Review: Only place in town for good Mexican.
I moved from San Diego hoping to find a place that made authentic Mexican, not Tex/Mex. Well, this is as good as it gets. And they do great dishes like Shrimp burritos, great Tacos, everything but Carne Asada burritos. Prices are fair. I do admit though, it gets rather full on a weekend night.
Jesse's Restaurant
2920 E. Busch Boulevard - no phone
~~~~~~~~~~~ CLOSED ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Recommended Dishes: Prime Rib, Crab legs, Grouper, and Shrimp Pasta
Review: I want Jesse back on Busch and 30th, that store was so cool.
Jesse's was the most fun and exciting place I've ever been to. Please I beg of you replace your store back on Busch and 30th; the food was great the service was excellent. I love Marvin the manager who used to work there, and also a little young girl that used to work there; I will never forget her, she goes by the name of Shawnta - she was a perfect angel when I came in. I wish I had a daughter like her. Sometimes I came in just see her smiling face. It is just sad to see that place go.
Review: Service? What Service?
I, along with seven others, were seated at the table. The server walked by three times, not once stopping to serve us. We waited 20 minutes before deciding to leave.
Review: Our Favorite Tampa Restaurant
Though it's been over five years since we lived in Tampa, my wife and I used to make a weekly trip to AJ Catfish. The food was great and the staff was always extremely courteous. If we ever get back down to Tampa from north Alabama, AJ Catfish will be our first stop.
Review: Great Food!
I have traveled 30 minutes to eat here several times. The fried catfish and tartar sauce is the best I have ever had! Everyone enjoyed the food.
Armani's
6200 West Courtney Campbell Causeway - 813.281.9165
Slightly elegant and slightly costly, this Northern Italian restaurant is a great destination for those times when you want to celebrate something special.\n\nPlates like lobster and spinach dumplings or blue crabs with sherry in thin crepes, roasted boneless duck breast, and their signature Armani's chocolate cake with mousse exude decadence. You'll need to book in advance, particularly on weekends.
