Doria's Pier 5 Italian Seafood Restaurant 124 S Federal Hwy - 954.454.2410 Cuisine: Italian Recommended Dishes:Veal Chops, Veal Milanese, Any Pasta Dish Review:Best Italian in South Florida I visit South Florida several times a year and have frequented Frank's Pier 5 Restaurant more than once on each trip. Frank's Pier 5 gets better every time I go. I look forward to my trips to South Florida, just to have Frank's cooking, and the remodelled atmosphere is very enjoyable. This restaurant is 5 Star and deserves it. It is the BEST!

Padrino's Restaurant 2500 E Hallandale Beach Blvd - 954.456.4550 Recommended Dishes:Paella, Cafe con leche, Black bean soup Review:Gringos Need Not Enter The food was excellent and our waitress was great; however, we were greeted by sneers at the door. We were dressed appropriately and I spoke Spanish, so the only other explanation for such obnoxious behavior must have been the fact that we are clearly "gringos." We were shocked, especially since we have never been treated this way, even outside of the US.
