Review:BEST CHICKEN IN GAINESVILLE FANTASTIC CHICKEN! DELIVERY SERVICE IS CONVENIENT AND MY FOOD ARRIVED HOT. Review:Great chicken, marginal sides, great sauce Stick with the salad and the potato wedges for sides because the others are pretty average (canned corn, reheated frozen veggies). The curry mustard and teriyaki sauces rock. YAY! Review:Addictive chicken Amazing homemade curry mustard and teriyaki sauces and moist, flavorful chicken. Open very late. Review:AMAZING! I love this place. Great, moist, flavorful chicken and sauces. Love everything on the menu. Review:AWESOME FOOD CALIFORNIA CHICKEN GRILL HAS SOME OF THE BEST FOOD AROUND AT AN AWESOME PRICE. THE CURRY MUSTARD SAUCE IS INCREDIBLE. THE POTATO WEDGES ARE GREAT TOO, PROBABLY THE ONLY GOOD SIDES CAUSE EVERYTHING ELSE IS CANNED. Review:GOOD FOOD EVEN IF THE SERVICE SUCKS! Food is absolutely delicious, but the service could be much better. But I'm all about the food anyhow so screw the employees! :) Review:ChickenSoup Like Mom's When I'm sick, this is my first stop for Chicken Soup. I live in Tampa now and miss it so much! Bahn Thai Restaurant 1902 SW 13th Street - 352.335.1204 Cuisine: Thai Recommended Dishes: Massaman tofu with sweet potatoes Thai Curry Chicken masaman chicken-yummy chicken or seafood green curry dishes, seafood specialty dishes Review:Great Food Bahn Thai has an extensive menu for both carnivores and vegetarians. The food and service are both good. They do accept credit cards. Review:Terrific lunch buffet They do a great all you can eat lunch buffet for about $6. Just about everything I've tried there has been fabulous, with the notable exception of spicy corn, which wasn't spicy at all, just tasted like those nasty little dried shrimps. But if you like those, you'd probably think it was good! Things could overall be a little spicier (it is Thai, after all). Review:My favorite in Gainesville I couldn't live without it. The food is fresh, the service is commendable and authentically concerned that you enjoy their food. Review:EXCELLENT I discovered Bahn Thai in 1997 and have been going ever since. The food is so flavorful, fresh, and fragrant. Personally, I think it's the best Thai around. Review:Order the dinners! yum I think the lunch and dinner buffets are just ok, but some of the dinners are phenomenal!! I love this place.
In-N-Out Hamburgers 1445 SE Hawthorn Rd. - 352.372.2321 Recommended Dishes:Double Double Double Double The sauce-spread is extremely yummy Review:Awesome I've lived in California for all of my life and had just moved to Oklahoma. I've been here for almost two years. Well I am a huge fan of In n Out and I talk about it all the time. I miss the Double Double and I keep tring to get a friend or someone to send one same day air. Anyway they're awesome. Thanks, Mike. Review:the best Review:ok but bad Review:IN-N-OUT History I have lived in Baldwin Park for all my life. I live in the very same city IN-N-OUT was created. IN-N-OUT was created by Harry and Esther Snyder. I live about three houses down from where Esther and Harry lived. I absolutely love IN-N-OUT. And many of us Baldwin Park citizens love it and want for IN-N-OUT to expand more to the east side of USA. Become more famous than McDonalds. More famous than Burger King. One Day IN-N-OUT will be one of the worlds most tastyiest and enjoyable hamburger in the world. If IN-N-OUT succeeds it will be a very succesful day in Baldwin Park. Review:YUMMY I absolutely love IN&OUT hamburgers. I am actually not a meat eater and never eat hamburgers until I tried an IN&OUT hamburger. They dont taste like usual fast food burgers, they taste like they were made from a resteraunt. All the food is fresh especially the crisp lettuce. I got my whole family addicted to it. My parents are on the Atkins diet too and are allowed to eat the burgers-protein style- and they love it and at the same time are losing weight. Who would have thought?
Leonardo's 706 706 W University Ave - 352.378.2001 Cuisine: Italian Recommended Dishes:Chicken Gorgonzola, Pasta Madagascar Chicken Agave, Pasta Batachelli Lotta Tomata Pizza, Tuna Caesar (rare), Filet Mignon,Mussel appetizer pasta carbonara/garlic bread Review:always exceptional Leonardo's 706 is the favorite Gainesville restaurant of just about everyone I know. A variety of delicious and creative dishes to choose from and desserts are to die for. The atmosphere and the menu are always evolving. Review:Wow This Place is Amazing!
Review:One of a kind A truly excellent pizza starts with the crust and evidently Leo's 706 is the only place in town that has taken this fundamental truth to its' bosom. The Caesar is heavily laden with garlic and anchovy the way any Caesar deserving of the name should be. Add a skewer of seared tuna and you've got something remarkable. Review:Great place to bring visiting parents! Pasta Agave is amazing. Good service, great food, even better garlic rolls. (Get them with maranara.) I love this place! Review:i miss leonardo's
Leonardo's Pizza In A Pan 4131 NW 16th Blvd - 352.376.2001 Cuisine: Pizza Review:The absolute best pizza in town! We've been regulars for years. You have not had pizza till you've had a Leonardo's pizza! Review:Excellent pizza. I keep meaning to try some of their other items but I just can't bring myself to forego the pie. Order a basket of their to-die-for garlic rolls while you wait, as the pie takes about 20-30 minutes to be made.
Ivey's Grill 3303 W.University Ave. - 352.371.4839 Recommended Dishes:Quesalada The clams! banana bread french toast, fruit bowl, veggie tofu salad, spinach dip Review:Delicious! The Quesalada is delicious!!! I always get that when I go, but i went on Sunday when they only serve breakfast, and got the peach muffin. That was absolutley delicious as well. Everything there is so good! The only thing is that the service is sometimes slow, but it is worth the wait. Review:awesome clam appetizer/meal
Review:THE ABSOLUTE BOMB Ivey's Grill is the best. The service isn't always snappy and there is often a rather long wait. However, I have braved sub-zero weather in the winter and lost 5 lbs sweating during the summer just waiting for a table so that I may enjoy their delicious food. Never have I been let down. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner - you can't ever go wrong with Ivey's!
Kotobuki Japanese Restaurant University Plaza, 13th St. - 352.372.8214 Cuisine: Japanese Recommended Dishes: Sushi Pizza Review:Consistently good food I have been to Kotobuki probably 5 times in the last 6 months. Review:What a great restaurant! Mancino's is our favorite place for spontaneous "Let's go out to eat" evenings. They have a wonderfully varied menu and a terrific staff of friendly people. Review:Really Good I love their Stromboli grinder, and their pizza is top notch, very good quality, and very tasty.
Saigon Cafe 1222 W University Avenue - 352.338.0023 Cuisine: Vietnamese Recommended Dishes:Fresh Spinach soup (chicken broth with fresh spinach leaves) coconut curry Review:Consistently Good Vietnamese Food My family and I have dined at this restaurant over twenty times in the last two years and have always walked away happy. I have enjoyed their service as well as their food, although not dramatic, and perhaps somewhat Americanized, still encased all of the asian elements that I seek including dishes with cilantro and coconut curries. Recently they have moved a bit further down the street from the college and have added sushi, which I understand is more to bolster their bottom line, but we feel that their food is always worth the 20 minute trip for us. We also like Chopsticks in Gainesville which I feel has the best Yom Nuer (Beef salad with cilantro, nam pla, etc.) Review:Great curry a little expensive for the portions, but still very good. Great curry, fabulous summer rolls, an all around great meal. And they deliver. And they have sushi. Daily specials are good, and cheap, too!
Review:Yummy and quiet Great food. Wonderful Phad Thai and Panang Curry. The Mango Icecream is excellent as is the mango sticky rice. The meat salad (I know it sounds weird, but take my word) was also good. The owner is a tad annoying, but all the servers are very nice and helpful when trying to pick out an entree. A bit pricey for the college student, but you've gotta try it. (It's in the shopping center next to Ward's Grocery)
Review:Great sauces, nice sized wings, but pricey for chicken wings...
