This historical building was recently renovated by new owner Pamela John. The dining room, with fireplace, is comfortable and cozy. The everchanging American menu features appetizers, soups, salads burgers, and generously portioned entrees such as ribeye steak, pasta primavera, meatloaf, shepherd's pie and seasonal specialties. We were seated by one of two fireplaces in the dining room while listening to background acoustic music. We were overwhelmed by the hospitality, great food, and great service all in one place. We will be going back on a regular basis now that we've found this "Diamond in the Rough"!! Review:Cozy Good Food Buffalo Wings Guiness Style were delicious, the 16 were too much to finish for one person and just enough for 2. Ribs were good and the bacon wrapped scallops were excellent.

Prices are reasonable, and the dining room is somewhat small, so reservations are recommended on busy weekend evenings. Have a salad if you're hungry; the antipasto is very well done, and really big. The pizzas are always excellent, as are the "choose-your-own" pastas and the more traditional entrees (Pagani's manicotti comes highly recommended). Save room for dessert with a nice finishing touch: cappuccino with rock-candied swizzle sticks. Service is friendly and usually quite prompt (though it does get very busy on occasion).
