Northglenn, city, Adams County, central Colorado, near the confluence of Clear Creek and the South Platte River; incorporated 1969. Primarily a residential suburb of Denver, Northglenn is situated in the vicinity of the Rocky Mountain Arsenal and Stapleton International Airport. The area was mostly farmland until 1960, when the community began to develop. Population 29,847 (1980); 27,195 (1990); 31,575 (2000).
