Sunflower 1701 Pearl Street - 303.440.0220 Recommended Dishes:Halibut with lavender and fennel Review:Great Food - Wonderful Wines! I went there with 4 other people - all of us wanting something different. We all were satisfied. They are creative with their vegetarian dishes, but I really loved their seafood! My husband had a great free range - buffalo steak. Also, they had an organic wine = Bonterra that doesn't give me headaches! Check it out
Avery Brewing Company 5763 Arapahoe Avenue, Suite E - 303.440.4324 Cuisine: Bar / Pub / Brewery Recommended Dishes:White Rascal, Hog Heaven, Redpoint Amber and Ellie's Brown Review:Best Beer in Boulder Avery Brewing co.is a family owned bottling facility that has been around for awhile. Unfortunately the brewery does not serve food. The brewers and owner were very friendly and offered a tour and free samplings of their beers. Absolutely loved ALL OF THEM! I ended up buying a few cases and some t-shirts from there tasting room. I recommend calling first to schedule the tour.
The Royal Peacock 5290 Arapahoe - 303.447.1409 Cuisine: Indian / Pakistani Recommended Dishes:tandoori chicken Review:The Best Indian Food in Boulder This is some of the best Indian food around. The naan (bread) is excellent as are the mango lassis (a drink made with yogurt). They have a lunch buffet every day which is reasonably priced and varies from day to day. I have never been disappointed and have eaten here many times.
Boulder Cork 3295 30th Street - 303.443.9505 $30.01 - $50 Cuisine: Steaks Recommended Dishes:Rainbow Trout Review:Typical Steak and Fish For a steak house, the steak wasn't very good. It was okay, but there was nothing special. The fish, however, was done very well. The chef also seemed to have a problem grilling the meat to the diner's specifications, everything came out about two stages (rare, m-r, medium, m-w, well done). The restaurant also had a relatively slim selection on its menu. The service was quick and helpful, but the drinks were not refilled promptly. The overall ambiance was nice - kind of a country kitchen atmosphere. The bathrooms were spotless, and the kitchen, which is visible, seemed clean as well.
Brewing Market 1700 28th Street - 303.444.6141 Recommended Dishes:Fresh carmel latte Review:The Brewing Market is awesome.
Attusso's Of Brooklyn Italian Cafe 1739 Pearl - 303.442.2262 $15.01 - $30 Serving traditional Italian fare, such as Chicken Parmigiana and Scaloppine Saltimbocca - medallions layered with prosciutto, spinach, fontina cheese and sage served in a marsala wine sauce with mushrooms. An early bird menu is available. Cuisine: Italian Review:Attussos serves what I believe to be the best and most authentic Italian cuisine in Colorado, and I should know, I travel a lot and am very picky. The atmosphere is old world Italian and the prices are reasonable.
