The red-and-black Mediterranean decor is as unchanged since the 1960s as the menu. Abandon trendy allegiances to "fresh Mex," and you'll encounter the Central Valley equivalent of comfort food. Dishes are pleasant -- enchiladas are filled with what they're supposed to be filled with, unlike those at many chain restaurants -- and flavorful without being exceptionally spicy. Service is leisurely, but staff is very apologetic when they spill iced tea in your lap.
