Review: THE best taco stand in LA
This is a staple of every person that has grown up in Culver City over the past 40+ years. Over the years their tacos and burritos have been frozen and flown across the country to those of us who miss it so.
Review: Tito's is the best fast mexican food.

Review: I lived in Culver City all the years of growing up. My Mother introduced me to Tito's when I was about 10. I graduated from Culver High School, in 1967, and unfortunately moved to Oregon, but whenever my husband and I are in the area, we make sure to stop, and bring several containers to bring back the salsa. The best tacos and meat and chesse burritos anywhere.
Review: The Tito's Habit
I used to live 4 blocks from Tito's and though I was sceptical of the food my first time, I quickly grew addicted to their tacos. Granted, it is not a traditional taco with soft shell, but combined with the salsa and the creamy guac I am convinced that there is something in the food because I could it there everyday of the week. UNBELIEVABLE!
Review: Still the same
I had my first Tito's Burrito about 1960. They were located on the corner of Washington and Sepulveda at the time. Their menu was very simple; tacos, meat burrito, bean burrito, tostadas, rice and refied beans. Back then the tacos didn't even have cheese on them. I can remember people asking for cheese on their tacos and getting a blank stare from the people behind the counter. I moved away from the area in 1977, but whenever I'm there I try to stop in. The amazing thing is that after all this time, everything still taste just as great as it did in 1960.
Review: Tito's is the Best
I've been eating at Tito's since 1962 at the old location. I hope they never change their tacos and burritos. Everytime I go there I know exactly what I'm going to get. Since I don't live near Tito's anymore I only get to treat myself once in a while which makes it all that more special. Must be great. The LINES are there all the time every day for years and years.
Natalee Thai
10101 Venice Boulevard - 310.202.7003 $15.01 - $30
Natalee Thai prides itself in being an "authentic" Thai restaurant, yet they do a great job in describing their dishes and in naming them so that they're friendly and approachable for their American guests. (example: the classic appetizer Kra-thong-tong is described as "Not easy to say, but easy to eat. Thailand's answer to a taco filled with chicken, corn, onion, carrots and peas." Takes the fear out of trying it if it's unfamiliar and makes the menu a fun read.) \n\nAt this location, Natalee Thai breaks with convention showcases a sushi bar and serves up designer cocktails, wine, beer and sake in their full bar. \n\nDishes are served family style and cover the spectrum of Thai classics -- rice, noodles, curry, soups, salads and entrees for meat, fish and vegetable lovers. Hot and spicy dishes are clearly marked and can be kicked up to your heat tolerance. \n \nThe exterior is unmistakable -- part airline hanger, part Airstream diner -- look for the curvy tin roof line at the intersection of Venice and Clarington next to the enormous parking lot of Smart & Final (where, by the way, you can park despite the ominous no-parking signs...)
Cuisine: Sushi
Recommended Dishes: Rama's Ribs, Outrageous Beef Salad, Catfish Salad, Tom Ka Soup, Natalee's Rice,

Bistro de l'Hermitage
9727 Culver Boulevard - 310.815.8222 $15.01 - $30
Bistro de l'Hermitage is simply French. Owned by American Johanna and French Christian Delay, you'll find congenial, warm service, moderately priced French bistro fare to be enjoyed al fresco on their large patio in the heart of Culver City, or inside in their tiny dining room.\n\nThe l'Hermitage wine inventory is small and tends to reflect wines that will sell in the neighborhood, although Christian usually has a plenty of wines that pair well with his food which might not be listed on the menu so be sure to ask. And if you choose to bring your own, feel free.\n\nThe two of them always dreamed of a simple neighborhood restaurant where they could meet and greet their friends and neighbors over a well-cooked meal and a great glass of wine. And that's just what they're doing, one meal at a time. Drop in and introduce yourself, they won't forget you. \n \nFilled during lunch with neighborhood Sony executives, business thins a bit at nights, so that on some evenings you may find them closed. However, due to popular demand, they've started serving breakfast/brunch depending on the hour you rise..., on Saturdays. \n\nDishes are classics, simply prepared. Duck confit, coq au vin, boeuf bourgignon, steak au poivre, lamb stew, merguez, esgargot, potato gratin, quiche Lorraine, tarte tatin, all have a home here. Nightly specials and seasonal ingredients determine the menu. \n\nWhen the Kirk Douglas Theater opens, expect their hours of operation to expand. \n\n
