Chino, city, San Bernardino County, southwestern California; incorporated 1910. It is the commercial center for a dairying region. Chino's manufactures include fabricated metals, processed food, and textiles. The community was formed in 1887 from part of the Rancho del Chino of Richard Gird, an early settler.
