The food here is delicious and the ambiance is wonderful. Cafe la Scala is a genuine jewel among the pretentiousness of Burlingame Ave. I do, however, miss the charming and sincere service of the young red-head and the young Argentinian!

Max's Diner 2015 Crow Canyon Road - 925.277.1990 Online Ordering<br>Takeout Cuisine: American Recommended Dishes:Honey roast chicken; St. Louis BBQ ribs and chicken; Diner Hash; Pearl (hot) dogs; BBQ pork sandwich ST louis Ribs Review:Great food; expensive prices; spotty service and quality. I eat at the San Ramon Max's fairly often. Most of the food is excellent when prepared correctly. Lately, I've had a couple of experiences with very poor service and food quality. Considering how expensive Max's is, I expect the best all around. By the way, Max's desserts are *huge*, *expensive*, and look much better than they actually taste, in my opinion. Review:This place is really great for those of you with kids and like great food. The desserts are everything they say they are and the kids get a great ice cream bar with all the toppings.
