Review:Good food but terrible service The food was fresh and prepared very pleasing to the eye and palate. The portions were large, so we left quite full! However, the service was almost horrible enough to ruin the experience. They asked us to eat faster and leave so that others could occupy our table. They were pushy and rude in many other ways. I was very excited to try this lively restaurant in Alameda recently. However, the service was deplorable. After waiting an hour to be seated (a couple that walked in after we did were seated first), we had an awful server. We placed our order for 2 lobsters and were told it would be 20 minutes as the kitchen was backed up. After 1 hour we inquired where our lobsters were, and our waitress informed us that they had run out of lobster! Nothing was offered instead, and we went home very hungry after over 2 hours. The next day I called the manager, and was advised I would get a call back, and over a week later, have heard nothing.

While there are many options from bland "Chinese" favorites, seafood, "sushi", and a small selection of American food, none of the offerings, not even dessert are good.
