Review:An Anchorage Tradition! If you live in Anchorage as I do, you know about the Lucky Wishbone. If you are visiting your trip will NOT be complete without at least one trip here! Known around town for their juicy burgers and thick shakes the Lucky Wishbone is a treat for all ages. Give their famous fried chicken a tast and you'll think you're in Mammy's kitchen in the old South! Not only will your tastebuds be in for a treat, but so will your pocketbook. One of the most affordable places to eat in Anchorage with the BEST service. I promise, you will feel like you've come home

Do you like crusty, home-made breads, over-sized cups of coffee, prompt friendly service, and fresh ingredients served piping hot? Try breakfast at the Snow City Cafe. This place is on my "must visit" list every time I travel to Anchorage (2 x month). I'm a breakfast afficianado and SCC is one of my all time favorites. Good music, a nice selection of magazines for those who like to browse with their meal, and an atmosphere that's relaxed and slightly "trendy", but comfortable for people from every age group. Review:I miss it and wish I had something like it here! I used to live in Anchorage and ate at the Snow City Cafe quite frequently. Met friends there for meals, had business meetings, or just went by myself for a great cup of tea! All the food is fantastic, service is great, and prices are totally affordable. Moved to Southern California two years ago and really miss this terrific piece of Anchorage.
Saigon Restaurant 3561 E Tudor Rd - 907.563.2515 Recommended Dishes:Vietnamese Crepes Review:The food is probably the best vietnamese in town. Specializing in noodle saute dishes and soups, these folks use only the freshest greens, vegetables and meats in town. The service is prompt, friendly and personal. Ambiance is comfortable and the interior decorating tasteful. Overall, I would give Saigon 4.5 stars out of 5.
Tiffany's Cafe and Catering 3030 Denali St #1 - 907.561.2224 Cuisine: Cafe / Coffee Shop Review:All Ways a Surprise!! If you want to be surprised when you order lunch to go make sure you call Tiffany's Cafe - you have a better than 50% chance of them giving you something other than what you ordered. I guess it is a good thing their food is generally good, but if you don't want to be surprised I suggest you order from another restaurant that places a greater emphasis on accuracy!!
