Saint-Léonard, city in Île de Montréal County, southern Québec, Canada, on the Île de Montréal (Montréal Island). Saint-Léonard is a residential suburb of the city of Montréal. It has some industry, including the manufacture of clothing, footwear, and paper and metal products. An art gallery, industrial park, and sports stadium are located in Saint-Léonard, as is the only cave open for tours within the Montréal Urban Community.
Saint-Léonard covers a land area of 12.9 sq km (5 sq mi). Population 73,120 (1991); 71,327 (1996).
