Anjou, in Île de Montréal County, southern Québec, Canada, on the Île de Montréal (Montréal Island). Anjou is a residential and industrial suburb of Montréal. Manufactures include rubber, plastic, leather goods, textiles, paper products, food, steel items, furniture, electronics, and chemicals. The transport and warehousing industries are also important to the economy. Anjou is home to an industrial park, a golf course, and Les Galeries d'Anjou, a regional shopping complex.
The town grew significantly in the 1950s, and it incorporated in 1956.
