Feys & Hobbs 1 - 845 Viewfield Road - 250.380.0390 Note that Feys & Hobbs is a catering service - not exactly a restaurant. I say not exactly since they do offer what they call the 'Chef's Table' service where a previously agreed upon menu can be served to between 6 and 30 guests at their Esquimalt location. Pictures in the gallery section will give you some idea of the set-up available. Feys & Hobbs also has a lunch menu that can be ordered online and delivered to your workplace or other location. Recommended Dishes:Anything and everything!!!! Review:Unbelievable Coordinator and Service!
J & J Wonton Noodle House 1012 Fort St - 250.383.0680 $15.01 - $30 This restaurant which seats about 50-70 is furnished in the usual Chinese style - sparse and utilitarian. But customers don't line up here to admire the decor - they've come for the inexpensive dishes brimming over with fresh and unusual ingredients. And you even get to watch your meal being prepared through the walls of the glassed-in kitchen. Cuisine: Chinese Recommended Dishes:Garlic Pork, General Tao Chicken, Scallops, Salt and Pepper Ribs Review:Best Authentic Chinese Food Probably the best authentic Chinese restaurant in Victoria. Their seafood is amazing, so deliciously prepared; I highly recommend the scallops and the salt and pepper ribs. The service is pretty good and the open kitchen is a great place to see how your food is cooked.
Pagliacci's 1011 Broad St - 250.386.1662 $15.01 - $30 Pags (as it is known locally - eschewing the correct Italian pronunciation) is usually lined up at lunch time as regulars wait to dive into a bottomless bowl of soup or have one of the reasonably priced entrees that get you pasta, soup or salad and fresh foccacia bread for around $10. Dinner is pricier but no less frenetic. It's not a place for those looking for a quiet, relaxing meal as tables are squished tightly into the restaurant and the buzz of diners' conversation is often raucous. Mementos of owner Howie Siegel's past cover the walls along with interesting art. The restaurant probably seats about 80 people - if they all inhale at once. Cuisine: Italian Review:awesome and loudly eclectic I ate here in august of 1990; when I returned to victoria it was july of 2001 and I was overjoyed that it was not only still there but was still packed and buzzing. More importantly the food was still unbelievable and the same huge portions of very original dishes. There are many pretenders to good eating establishments in victoria,Pagliacci's is not one of them. I give it my select five star rating.
Saigon Night 788 Yates St. - 250.384.2971 Cuisine: Vietnamese Recommended Dishes:# 3, #10 and prawns Review:Best in the World The fare is light, cheap, and tasty. A good place for a light lunch or for dinner. Check it out, you won't be sorry.
Milestone's 812 Wharf Street - 250.381.2244 $15.01 - $30 Modern moderate restaurant on Victoria Harbour. Cuisine: American Recommended Dishes:Salmon Pasta Nothing we didn't like. Review:Good Brunch
Review:Milestone's Great Bellini's! Go to Milestone's immediately after depositing my luggage in the hotel lobby, for a wonderful Bellini cocktail! Food also good, but it's the Bellini's that draw me back each year. Anyone know the recipe so I can fix some until next visit there????
Cucina - Mirjana #10, 532 1/2 Fisgard St. , #10 Dragon Alley - no phone $5.01 - $15 Gourmet Mediterranean food. Cuisine: Mediterranean Recommended Dishes:beet and yam canneloni Review:Superb!

Red Robin Restaurant 800 Tolmie Ave. - 250.386.4440 Cuisine: Burgers Recommended Dishes:baked potato soup, pot roast dinner, philly cheesesteak sandwich Review:Good Food, Good Service
Sticky Wicket Pub and Restaurants 919 Douglas St. - 250.383.7137 As the website explains The Sticky Wicket Pub and Restaurants (yes, plural) is more than just an eating and drinking establishment. There are 7 rooms on 5 levels with seating for up to 1,200. At the top of the restaurant is the rooftop patio complete with 2 sand volleyball courts and fabulous views of Victoria. Down on the main level is the splendid curving wooden bar (275 feet long) built over 130 years ago. Food is typical pub fare - burgers, pasta, sandwiches and salads - but portions are generous and prices are reasonable. The waitstaff are invariably young, attractive and attentive and it's hard to have a bad time at the Sticky Wicket. It's a fun, informal place that is popular with families, tourists and people of any age looking for a congenial place to get together and hoist a few pints. Cuisine: Burgers Recommended Dishes:garlic mashed potatoes Review:Never mind the food - it's the view that matters!
Baja Grill 1 - 1600 Bay St. - 250.592.0027 Cuisine: Mexican Recommended Dishes:Pizza
Il Greco Pizzaria 2900 Tillicum Rd. - 250.386.1116 Cuisine: Pizza Review:Best Pizza in Victoria Great pizza and very accommodating service. Substitutions and half orders not a problem. Very busy restaurant, so reservations - especially on weekends - are highly recommended.
Keg Steakhouse and Bar 500 Fort St. - 250.386.7789 For over 30 years the Keg has been Canada's steakhouse. The chain changed hands in 1997 and now (according to the franchises website) is enjoying "a level of success unprecedented in the company's history". The Fort Street Keg in Victoria (there is another in Saanich on Quadra) is an institution - it's where we celebrated birthdays when I was a teenager many, many years ago. It continues to serve great steaks, supersized cocktails and all the trimmings (potatoes, mushrooms and its own sourdough bread) with warmth and friendliness. It's a good place for family dining and special nights out. Prices are moderate and the atmosphere is casual and welcoming. Cuisine: Steaks
Scott's Restaurant 650 Yates St. - 250.382.1289 Cuisine: Diner Recommended Dishes:Most are recommended, I enjoyed the liver and onions Review:Been a Yates St. Food Staple for Years
Wharfside Eatery 759 Yates Street - 250.384.7494 $15.01 - $30 Harbour view restaurant in a converted warehouse. Romantic ambiance in a glass, brick and steel setting overlooking the harbour. Cuisine: American Recommended Dishes: if you must eat there, try the pizza Review:Stay Away From Wharfside! Obscenely overpriced. Make sure you check the prices of the items on your bill; they tend to charge you a different price than the menu states. I think that's illegal! Food would be okay if it wasn't priced at twice what it is worth.
Passero's Restaurant 1102 Yates St. - 250.384.6474 Cuisine: Mediterranean Recommended Dishes:None Review:Don't Waste Your Money or Your Time We had a terrible experience at Passero's. For the same price, you can find much better food, ambiance and service elsewhere in Victoria. Recommendations: The Sticky Wicket or Chandler's.
