Arby's 16 - 2070 Harvey Ave. - 250.763.0006 Cuisine: Fast Food Review:False Advertising The Arby's sandwich used to have some roast beef in it, somewhat like the ads for Arby's portray. But in the last couple of years the bun has gotten bigger or the beef portion has gotten much smaller. I think they should change either the ad or the sandwich.
The Finer Choice 237 Lawrence Ave. - 250.763.0422 $15.01 - $30 Cuisine: Continental / European Review:Quiet, romantic setting. Nice soup and salad. Extremely disappointed with the chicken. Used a processed chicken which was very noticable especially for the price $18.00. Also, too much butter - our food was swimming in it.
White Spot 2190 Harvey Avenue - 250.763.1660 $5.01 - $15 Gourmet burgers at a reasonable price. Good for early morning breakfasts and a casual atmosphere. Cuisine: Breakfast / Brunch Recommended Dishes:Penne Chicken Caesar Review:Irresistably Different Don't like the old look, they need to compete with Earl's, Milestones and The Keg more. They need a bar with more drinks. And get rid of the carpet; it is always dirty. Put in tile or hardwood it would make it look more modern.
Tim Hortons 1711 Springfield Rd. - 250.763.7816 $5.01 - $15 Smaller establishment, located in the Revy Home and Garden Centre. Cuisine: Fast Food Review:We have had doughnuts at five different Tim Hortons in the past week and none of them were good. The system has been changed and the doughnuts are stale, smaller, no comparison to the ones we have had up to this past month. I for one don't plan on buying any more as I am not a coffee drinker, I guess I will be visiting Country Style.
