Kidderminster, town, Wyre Forest District, Worcestershire, central England, on the Stour River. An industrial town, Kidderminster is known as a center of carpet manufacture. Kidderminster was, from the 9th to the 12th century, a royal manor. Flemish weavers were important in the town during the 13th and 14th centuries.
