Frederiksberg, borough, eastern Denmark, a suburb of Copenhagen. Frederiksberg is the site of an imposing palace, built by King Frederick IV in the first half of the 18th century. Industrial establishments in the borough include the Royal Porcelain Works, a faience factory, and breweries. Population (1994 estimate) 87,466.
