Nawabganj, city in northwestern Bangladesh, in Rajshahi Division, located 40 km (25 mi) northwest of the city of Rajshahi. Nawabganj serves as a market center for mangoes, litchi nuts, and rice produced in the region. The city is also known for its silk, brass, and bronze ware.
