Manzil Bu Ruqaybah, also spelled Menzel-Bourguiba, city and port in northern Tunisia, in Bizerte Governorate, on the Lake of Bizerte, near the city of Bizerte. A former French naval base with an arsenal and other installations, it is a road and rail hub. Industries include metallurgy, cotton processing, and iron-working. The city is the site of a classical college. Formerly called Ferryville, the city was renamed to honor Habib Bourguiba, the founder of the Tunisian Republic and president from 1957 to 1987.
